Pink Floyd trivia query

I know Pink Floyd used sound effects quite heavily in their recordings, but can anyone come up with a song (Possibly from the Syd Barrett era) which featured a UK police siren? For starters, it's not 'Comfortably Numb' or 'Bike'

Syd had fallen by the wayside by their 2nd album "Saucerful of Secrets" - and I think the police were still using Winkworth Gongs in the late 60's, not sirens ....

"Blockbuster"

I saw Pink Floyd at Barbeque 67. They were crap. The light show was a projection of a lava lamp sort of thing, projected onto a sheet hanging at the back of the stage. Their sound system was badly adjusted and to make it worse, they were out of tune. A bunch of amateurs. Didn't they scrub up well in the end, though?

I used to know the guy who did the voice-unders on a couple of tracks on Dark Side of the Moon. His main claim to fame at the time was how he drove a 12ft truck under an 11ft 9in petrol station canopy on his first day in the job.

Flew in from the Canaries in 2005 to see and hear their performance at Live Aid.
The girl child got me a freebie gold circle ticket.

Got me vinyl copy of Dark Side signed by David Gilmour also.

Do you already know this answer and are posing it as a mini-quiz?

I'm inclined to agree with Blacksheep until I get chance to go through my entire "The Pink Floyd" (as they were originally titled) collection.

FWIW they also played at The Raven's Club at RAF Waddington on 20 April 1968.

If I find it, I'll let you know......

Didn't find the answer, but I just listened to 'Corporal Clegg' on Ewetube, nice to hear it again after years and years.

The correct answer is disc 3 (previously unreleased tracks) of the Dark Side Of the Moon "Immersion" edition at 4 mins 59 seconds.

Do I win a prize ?

Yes, the title of most tragic Pink Floyd enthusiast 2012. Congratulations!

I would previously have considered myself to be in the running, but didn't even know there were previously unreleased Dark Side of the Moon tracks, so I am now hanging my head in shame!
