Do you know them?

Slightly bizarre situation....

At Heathrow last Thursday afternoon, Terminal 1. Waiting in the line at the ticketing office and in front was what sounded like an elderly American gentleman. His companion was a young man wearing shades, black leather gloves, a fastened wool coat and a mane of long, ginger curly hair. Young man looked a bit like a much younger Mick Hucknall and was clearly the less important of the two.

Looked a bit 'celebrity-ish' (given we were indoors) but didn't give them much thought...until this afternoon in central Manchester, who do I see waiting for a cab but this very same pairing.

I thought it was unusual to see someone in your home town, you have only stood behind in an airport 200 miles away with flights to around the world and also, I wonder who they are?

Just musing out aloud.....

Heaven forbid you saw the first public sighting of a reincarnated Mick Hucknell....or, possibly a certain now unemployed ( able) former news editorix...

I have seen Mich Hucknall on TV but don't profess to know him.

Were you unable to see him? Did he sound American and look elderly?

I think really it's more accurately a coincidence. The fact that they stood out a bit helps. As for who they might be. Some gay guy and his younger partner or Father and son or somebody famous in some other country with his manager? Or it could easily be one the recent crop of celebrities who nobody really knows or cares about. Or maybe it's someone with style without substance.

That's funny, I was chatting with them just now and they asked if I knew why some wierdo was following them from the airport.
