Multi layer insulation - attention DIY enthusiasts
The boys spent all day affixing 25-layer insulation under our existing ceiling, adding laths (many of them) and are now putting up plasterboard. Intreagued by the insulation I have wrapped a fresh-from-the-freezer ice pad in a spare remnant with a remote temperature sensor, reading -15º at the start time, and will see how fast it heats up to room temperature.

Watch this space for results !
