The Norden bombsight!

A fascinating and brilliant review of the history of Mr Norden and the bomb sight that bears his name! It also makes some interesting points vis a vis. philosophy and the morality of war.

Caution (aviation related content as well).

Very enlightening.

There was also a belief that arming the bombers with numerous gun turrets would protect them from destruction. Alas, they were useless against flak, which destroyed thousands of bombers.
