Great art, that ... about as good as the girl who recreated her bedroom in some gallery - unmade bed, clothes lying on the floor, used condoms lying around. Would have taken heaps of artistic skill and vision to work that one out!

A consummate storyteller, Tracey Emin engages the viewer with her candid exploration of universal emotions. Well-known for her confessional art (oxymoron), Tracey Emin reveals intimate details from her life to engage the viewer with her expressions of universal emotions. Her ability to integrate her work and personal life enables Emin to establish an intimacy with the viewer.
Tracey shows us her own bed, in all its embarrassing glory. Empty booze bottles, fag butts, stained sheets, worn panties: the bloody aftermath of a nervous breakdown. By presenting her bed as art, Tracey Emin shares her most personal space, revealing she’s as insecure and imperfect as the rest of the world.(No, she is an untidy b*tch)

maybe some things should NOT be shared? To avoid kinda-glorifying?
Yea, I snapped this pic of my daughter some years ago to shame her into cleaning up her room. After she was married and had daughters of her own I gave them a copy of the pic. They were so excited about showing it to all there friends
On the front of yesterday's newspaper was this advertisement for a London auction house (the name of which I have obliterated.) The recommended price range for this work of art........at their auction is five to seven million pounds.
Tracey Emin's bed is obviously a wok of fictiobn with all those used condoms lying atound. She's so ugly nobody would want to make the beast with two backs with her,
