Cable for PM!

Following the (inevitable) disclosure of a 'cosy' relationship between 'call me Dave' and Rupert's gang (why are the journos not hacking Mrs B's phone and tracking her 'adventures'?) I wish to declare absolute respect for Vince who himself declared 'war' on the Murdoch empire and suffered the penalties accordingly.

Cable? I bumped into him on the Eurostar last January, we were both off skiing. Seemed a decent enough cove, although I did count my fingers after shaking hands.

Well, he is a politician after all.

Cable is about as useful as a chocolate teapot. I'd lay a fiver down that he's playing to the peanut gallery.

Solid Rust Twotter I originally wrote 'all' and then changed it to 'most' as I felt that generalisations are unfair and there have been a few, such as Enoch Powell, Eugene Terreblanche, Ian Smith, Hendrik Verwoerd and P W Botha who had the interests of others at heart. But then there are those who would disagree with me ...... and I'm in enough shit already for my exploits with the telephoto lens so I'd better shut up.

Reckon you got it right the first time then. Wouldn't cross the road to wee into the mouths of any of them if their teeth were on fire. As a group their value to mankind would place them somewhere on the scale between viruses and flesh eating bacteria.

OK - let's re-phrase, since we are doomed to have 'politicians, and 'prime ministers', on a scale between viruses and flesh-eating bacteria where does the chocolate teapot sit? At least he had the guts to speak out about the Murdoch - and suffered the fate of those who speak the truth.

Puhlease, do you REALLY think that the LibDumbs never had the same "relationship" with Murdoch's lot, same as Labour don't have a "cosy" relationship with them despite things going south with Broon?

did I say that? Remind me who has been 'caught out' this month (not necessarily with trowies down, but you never know)? More to play yet. That labour MP wot brought it up yesterday under PP has more to say. I think the teaching hospitals will benefit from all the skeletons.

And how was he "caught out" this month when the Coulson thing happened MONTHS ago?

What about the amount of times the LibDumbs gave "exclusives" to Murdoch's press?

And anyone from labour is only scoring points when you consider the relationship they had with Murdoch's press, "hypocrisy" doesn't even describe what they are trying to say now compared to what they were like. After all, the video below speaks volumes...

All three of the main political parties have their hands in the News International pie, ALL of them have sucked up to Murdoch's press. Anyone who claims that Cameron has egg on his face now over what has happened, when the LibDumbs and ZaNuLabour did NOTHING to curb the excesses of said rags, and you could say encouraged them by doing NOTHING since the phone hacking stories first started in 2006, is zither blinded by hatred because their beloved political party did not get the power they wanted or is as big a hypocrite as the politicians themselves.

Dangly things

The association between Rope and Cable is nothing short of Miraculous - It brings a lift to the fabric of my being. If you give a rope to an idiot, they will surely hang themselves. What folly: All of them.

To give the UK a fighting chance of survival, as we propell ourselves (pprune, propell gedit - And some fell on Stoney ground !) towards third world sub Sarahan status, the burden of debt both Governmental and personal has to be paid off.

"MORE ROPE, MORE ROPE", the huddled masses cry. They are huddled because they cannot afford the Gas bills; and their Avaition/Engineering/Technical Jobs were sacrificed to fight the empty headed wars of "Idiots past".

Back to reality - "How are my Euro-trowser Subordinated/Triple Protected/Gold Plated/Very Secure Investments in an undefined but promising venture in the south seas" doing these days ?

A roaring silence fills the void, left by my missing, but very honest investment advisor.

The dark eternity of the intersteller medium; suddenly starts to look very attractive.

CAT III (Not a relative of the Undertaker in Dads' Army)

Of course all the political parties (with the possible exception of the Communists) were in a cosy relationship with No News International. With the influence on the voters the group has Murdoch was virtually a King maker (no pun intended).

Control of Sky, no way. too much power for one man.
