Lozere.
Not so, sabre. 'Tis in fact 34 Hérault.

Much if not most of the Larzac is in the Lozere, this bit is not.

And it is the deepest canyon in Europe, apparently.

As Hobo is now back online,and not to have two challenges running at the same time, I shall delete my earlier challenge.

Well spotted,Sirikit. It might give the game away,but it is a Russian built aircraft.
As you are no doubt aware, I have withdrawn the challenge due to Hobo's belated return!

Am clueless.

Is it a hot place?

Sirkit;
Yes, a hot country, but not a monument to trees or water.
Has a military aviation connection.
Hobo;
Sorry not Berlin.
Server appears to be back now.
