Looking at it now, somewhat enlarged, I suspect now it is another view of Dubrovnik. Perhaps backwards.

I agree, it is Dubrovnik harbour. Seems like the correct view. Post another one.

Look at post #8611. I knew 'TingTing' was 'Sirikit'. Strange creature. Anyway, unless she can contribute and respond sensibly, and she clearly can't, we're better off without her.

Can't on Finfly's latest, I would say further East, possibly Austria, but only a guess.

I suspected it too, long time ago. She will pop up again, under another name. No harm done.

But this one is a good challenge, it will be solved. But it may take some time.

I believe it is Salisbury, and I'm ashamed for not having recognised it myself as I know Salisbury really well (the one in England and the one that used to be the capital of Rhodesia).

It pretty much looks like the spire of St. Michael’s church in Bernkastel-Kues. Formerly it was part of the medieval town wall, later being integrated into the church. OH if correct.

I was trying to tie it up with the place names on the road sign below the bridge. The lovely town of Bernkastel Kues would certainly fit that. So does the image below:

This was with the ones mostly from Europe, but is kind of sparse in other clues. Still I have been happily staggered by the thread expertise in the past...

The French flag could be a false indicator but it looks likes the coast near Villefranche, west of Monaco.

Thanks. It was with a few that I worked out were Italy, so anything is possible. They also visited Switzerland in the same trip, I think. Again, my deepest appreciation for your input.

If it's where I think, it's only a few miles west of the border between France and Italy. Someone with better ability may be able to confirm my informed guess.
