Summer continues, got yo bed at about 0630 having spent the night cruising - Stones Concert in Essen, early 1970s on the stereo and talking about our future.
Builder has just pitched up to start replacing the windows, unnecessary expense as it looks like the house is going on the market, but hopefully a selling point.
Road and garden are full of wind blown seeds from the other side of the canal, small puffballs but I don't think they're dandelions. Must be some new mutated weed

Gainsey one of my Yufties would appeal to your hounds - and probably yourself.
Fit a water misterl system about 8 feet off the ground. The fine spray doesn't feel wet yet reduces the temperature considerably. Alternatively you can order complete systems from the cousins. I even have a garden chair plumbed into the system, cool water reaches places you didn't know existed

Then there's this, not sure if I like the idea of leccy and water being mixed

Westie don't forget you're travelling with Virgin; they've never been known to go the whole way.

Have a great day in the smoke. Wish I was there. You deserve a bit of R&R after the last week, not that you'll get much of that.

Used to work with a bloke that looked just like Herr Hilter.
He refused to grow a little 'tash to complete the picture.
He could have made a fortune doing the old "Lookalike"
rounds in Ffrance and Poland.

Prune song...

.......Lon mon vieux; thankyou for posting that clip. I took me all the back to being 6 years old again, when my Granny used to sing it to amuse me. As I grew older I could remember only the occasional line such as "we get wrinkles on our face, prunes get them every place". Gosh, the memories that stirs - I'm quite overcome.....

Ta Lon, but I don't think its worth it for three days a year (being optimistic). A similar effect can be had by jet washing the winders.

Hot & humidish
