Do Ppruners actually look like you imagined them?

I've only ever met one and that was pre-PPrune, but looking at the various pics that crop up, only Juud has been anything close to what I imagined.
(And very pleasant too).

I think I've also met the one you are referring to, Gainesy, and yes he did look like I'd imagined him. BFU perchance?

Couple of real @rseholes (a previous thread refers . . . ) and knocked out by a certain couple of Mods when I met them. Had bother getting my tongue back off the floor. I think someone else took a photograph in evidence.

On the whole, people on here are unfailingly courteous and certainly live up to their style of posting when met in the flesh.

Yep, BFU, though that was about ten years before PPRuNe even started.

Like you say John, most folk are pleasant, all the time I've been a member I've only ever put two folk on my ignore list, one was a religous loony who has not been apparent for years now and the other is just plain tedious. Still, I rarely enter the politics threads otherwise there might well be more.

S- Sir you are more gracious than I gave your avatar credit for. You are teeth are quite good for those of an Englishman!

L - You are too kind, I shall forgive the calumny of the US Hamsterwheel. Care for tea?

I have to say that Wholi was even better-looking than I had imagined him. FlyBlue is the best-looking PPRuNer par excellence. Danny is not nearly as tall as he should be. Flying Lawyer doesn't look, behave or smell like Rumpole and Jude is - well Jude!

They've always seemed to have changed their whole appearance by breakfast the morning after the bash before, and I have never quite managed to recognise anyone from Wholi's Aerial Recognition Guide!

Firey is referring to Wholi's famous peccadillo of his infamous 'cleavage shots'...

Say wot yer loike you lot, but I am NOT nagging wife material compared to some. However, I WILL admit to banning him from doing two things during the course of a certain occasion! They were no 'high camera shots' and no muttering of 'S&P' under his breath. Should he be tempted to wander from this stipulation, he only had to glance down at his cufflinks-for-the-day for a timely reminder... Normal service now resumed however!

JohnFairr? Permission to place previously mentioned evidence into the Sticky Piccies?

I've met a few now, and I could certainly offer a few names to challenge for the "best looking pprunette"... But being a gent, I won't !!

As for the boys, the ones I know fit into four categories, if not all simultaneously.

1. Funny.

2. Gentlemen (Incl cads and bounders!)

3. Intelligent

4. Pi$$-artists.

Not a bad old bunch really!!

Jeez, some mornings I look in the shaving mirror and realise that I don't even look like I imagined . . .
