AAIB report out today - 737 Em. landing @ BHX 15/6/06

The original thread relating to this incident is closed :

http://www.pprune.org/forums/showthr...230613&page=17

This was the TNT cargo 737 on 15/6/06 that left its starboard undercarriage in the grass adjacent to the runway at East Midlands before diverting to BHX, and landing "safely", but was then blocking the runway for ages preventing the Brits from travelling to Germany to support the England footie team

The AAIB report is out today - and I hear that there will be News stories running on local TV, maybe also National BBC / ITV depending on what else is happening in the world

Wonder if there's anything in the report about whether the pilot was alerted by someone from East Mids that his undercarriage had been ripped off the aircraft, or whether he continued the flight to BHX still trying to lower the non-existent gear
