I'm 99.9% certain that it is Corbiere on the SW tip of Jersey.
Here is another picture and google will through up hundreds more.

It might lead to a 'Which Lighthouse?' forum on the Professional Mariners and Mermaids Rumour Network'.

Don't go there unless you want to meet with Virginia Woolf.

Post the picture in the Rumours & News forum and call it a control tower. Someone will surely point out ''That's a lighthouse you twit," then proceed to tell you where it's located.

If you look very carefully at the picture, you can just see a USN Aircraft Carrier steaming directly towards it...............

Yup La Corbičre

Used to work out of Jersey and walked across the causeway to the lighthouse a number of times. You can walk carefully around the base.

Well presented on wikipedia :http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/La_Corbi%C3%A8re

I wanna marry a lighthouse keeper ...

And Jersey being not that far from France, might even be heard as "kipper"

Not sure if this is really the plaice for fish puns, though
