Here are my 2 options for winners (don't snigger). I don't care who comes 2nd or 3rd.

Livingstone Bramble No:19 Weight:10-9
Three miles seems to stretch his stamina so it’s hard to see him being involved in the finish.

66-1
Naunton Brook No:36 Weight:10-4
Front runner with plenty of stamina reserves. Trainer has won the National before. Looks a great bet!

100-1

Cool

My maternal grandmother knew trainers in Ireland so from a very young age one was accustomed to making small wagers on three key races ... the 'National being one. Despite the demise of grandmother and mother one is continuing the "tradition" and has chosen Point Barrow, Longshanks and Gallant Approach purely on the basis of name!! The last, of course, being the closest aviation name in the running

Just been watching a recording of the regional BBC TV News for Friday. Listening to them talking-up various horses (that didn't feature) makes me feel not quite so bad that my 'fancied' horse didn't feature either.
The only winners are the bookies (who, if they get their sums right, never lose, whichever horse wins).
