Yes.

Only takes a couple of minutes to learn it.

Anyone who uses that godawful text-speak: "c u l8r" deserves instant decapitation.

One refuses to send or recieve texts messages, or take photographs, play video games, watch movies or listen to music on, a telephone is for speaking into and listening to the live human voice on.

Well said, that man, although text messages are handy for rugby score updates when I can't get to the game.

BBC yesterday reported that an eight year old was being treated for RSI because of all the texting she does.

(And yes, I use predictive text. 5 keystrokes for "hello", rather than 13)

OK, so I'm weak and I've just Googled it.

I now feel that this makes my life so complete that there is little left to experience.

All I need now is a mobile phone.

Gotta go.....blue rinse booked for 1030.

Well balls. I text my missus all day long, principally because she works for an old bag who won't let her send emails or make the odd phone call, so I often text her stuff & long may it continue.

Yes, I use it all the time and, apart from the odd "prediction" which is wrong, I would like to think all my text messages are prefectly spelled, grammatically correct and properly punctuated.

Cheers

I don't have mine set on predictive text... I hate it... the only time I shorten words is when I'm low on remaining characters..... and I use punctuation most of the time....
