Okay well since either no one else can be bothered doing it or no one actually noticed, I will stand up and point out the obvious:
The Grumpy And Near-Sighted One has not been seen whinging or whining for quite some time now. He normally steps in to chide anyone who’s been here less time than him or who “steps out of line” or goes, deliciously, against the flaky and fickle PPRuNe thread fashions, be they as they may on any given occasion.
Just quietly, I suspect our good friend ***oclears has launched a hunger strike in silent support of his girlfriend and sole supporter who also vanished, oddly around the same time, in the recent unpleasantness.
The problem is, refusing to speak to anyone only works if people actually notice your absence!
We might have seen a Declaration of One’s Departure, such as which precluded the (short-lived) absence of the very wise and eminently erudite, Mr. **v**r, but such is the disgust felt by the bi-nosed one about the Regime Change that he saw fit to simply walk out (in a cyber sense).
Ah, my wrinkly friend, where f’art thou? I miss your style. I don’t know what style you try so hard to emulate but I miss it anyway. And even though you claim you “Ignore” me, I know you don’t.
Has ‘nocs left the building for good?
Would his Silent Treatment of everyone else ever have been noticed if your favourite 1B hadn’t pointed it out?
Will he one day turn blue, give up holding his breath and finally come crawling sheepishly back in?
