I know this isn't strictly the way to do things - I'm only a wifey after all! But I need some help, and the bigger and stronger you are the better!!!! ;-)
I am helping to decorate the Officers' Mess at RAF Wittering for the upcoming summer ball. I found out yesterday that the mess manager has a 'problem' (

) with people borrowing items from local suppliers in order to keep costs down, as he says the Mess cannot afford to replace them if they get damaged!
Duh - thats what insurance is for!!!
However, I am fairly new to this activity so I don't know where to start. Can someone help me - give me a number or something? I'm sure some of you must've helped organise a summer ball before! I know that other messes have had such insurance (I don't even know what kind of insurance it was!) as I've helped with flowers before and it's already been done! So i know it's possible.
The meeting is on Monday, unfortunatly, so not much time to research.
PLEASE HELP ME!
