Movie - Aircraft Carrier Nimitz goes Back to 1941

Years ago as a kid, I watched a video about the USS Nimitz, on an exercise of the Hawaiian Coast, goes back in time to Dec 7th, 1941.

But i cant remember the title.

Yeah, agree with RD.

Pretty good sequence of (as ropey memory recalls, please correct me if I'm wrong) a couple of F15s beating up a couple of Zeros.

Certainly, you´re wrong. They were F14s, (VF-84 "Jolly Rogers"). Pretty hard getting a couple of F15s down on a carrier...

Boring

How about a film where a '70's hippie named HeySuse Christian gets transported back in time to the BC / AD border, where he forms a cult based on being nice to people. His message is misinterpreted, and, having faked death by appearing to be nailed to a tree, he escapes back to his own time to find the world in chaos as a result of his meddling.

Oh, wait, that already happened in real life.

PS: I now own copyright to this idea. Pinch it and I'll be after you.

Sigh. Angels vs. ORAC - There's only ever going to be one result!

But they were Zeros weren't they?

the trouble with time travel.....

"The Jack Benny Program" to which the crew listens on Saturday, 6 December 1941, did not air on Saturdays but rather on Sundays and the pictures of Pearl Harbo(u)r supposedly taken by the Nimitz' recon aircraft are identical to historical photos of the attack, including torpedo splashes in the water, even though the photos are supposed to have been taken hours before the attack.

How could they be zeros, John Wayne shot them all down.

Remember a intereseting thing about Japanese technology at the time,it said that the completed Zeros were towed from the factory to the test airstrip by Bullocks.

Just read an account of a bloke serving in Burma, he said that he only seen one Zero in action, but when it appeared, one bloke shouted 'there's a nip in the air' then everyone shot at it. They missed.
made me laugh
