Morning Piggy,

Happy New Year to all.

Still working on the relief effort, and things starting to fall into place.

I may be sent forward to Thailand within the next week or so, so will discuss with you as things become clearer Piggy. Perhaps you will need to maittain the quiz for a few weeks yet.

I have started to put a couple together - will see what happens.

Actually managed to have yesterday (sunday) afternoon off - you know, working 12 to 18 hour days does catch up with you eventually!!

Boy did the beers taste good yesterday afternoon!!

Cheers to all

Afternoon all. I'm afraid sleeping in and watching cricket have been the priorities on my day off...

Can't add anything to the answers for now but I'll have another look at work tomorrow.

Hey Jerry, gotta agree about Iris Dement. She's great! Her song lyrics don't take any prisoners, do they?
She's got a fourth cd out that I've gotta lay my hands on soon, but I just blew my monthly music budget on k. d. lang and The Navigators.

Anybody's game, still a load of stuff left.

Scores updated.

After diligent research - ok ok, 30 seconds on Google - I find that G&N did record a song by Manson as an untitled track. Point accorded accordingly.
I was actually looking for a song by The Beach Boys. Dennis Wilson knew Charles Manson, and included Manson's song "Cease To Exist" on the album 20/20, retitled as "Never Learn Not To Love."
An interesting note - through Wilson, Manson had met Terry Melcher, Doris Day's son, who produced some of the Beach Boy's albums. Melcher turned down Manson's request to cut a record, with the result that Manson developed a major hard on against him. He and a few of his friends visited Melcher's house one night with murder on their mind. In the meantime, Melcher had rented his house to Sharon Tate. The rest is history.

Cooda, Joan Osborne recorded another song titled "What If God Smoked Cannibus." Hilarius..err..hialur..err..funnier'n hell.

Edited to add some hints.

Lyrics
6...Song written by John D. Loudermilk for this 34 y/old housewife who sounds like a 16 y/old on helium.
10..Song title could be Jerricho's MIL?
12..Great lady, had her own tread a week or so ago. Can't see how Jerry Coe missed this one. (Or Jerricho either)
13..C&W lady, same last name as the voice on the radio in T14. Her voice'd melt a cold, cold heart.
18..Irish lady, ex-lead singer of De Dannon. Lives in Nashville now.
24..Folkie, been on here before. Co-wrote the song "Gulf Coast Highway."

Trivia
14..See L13.
27..It was -27C here this morning. Not hard at all to do this if you have the footwear.
