A leather jacket that's nicely worn in, a fleece, a 'Trax' jacket (fleece-lined Pertex), a Berghaus GoreTex pack-lite and a Sprayway GoreTex.

1 Nylon drinking jacket, black, fleece-lined.
1 GoreTex, NorthFace.
1 Brown suede number, purchased from a market stall when I was younger/thicker.
3 Freebie fleeces from various contractors.
2 Flame-retardent hi-vis coats from my wellsite days.

Tip: Y'all probably know this, but if you wash GoreTex in regular detergent, your cleaned garment won't breathe any more. I learned the hard way. Just as well I'm a fair-weather hiker...

Ashamed to admit that I own a wool "Dannimac" jacket. Adds about 40 years to my age. Very warm and sensible.

Crep - havent washed it yet but thanks for the advice - I didnt know that!

All the Barbour wax jacket owners - same thing except it wont be waterproof anymore. Buy the tin of wax and a hairdryer and re-wax it or send it to barbour www.barbour.com

A fantastic bike jacket. Clover is the brand. It's red and black. Waterproof and tough. (Crash tested it already) Some sort of tough fabric. 8 years old now. Best $600 I've ever spent.
Leather bike jacket. Not as comfy, not crash tested.
Marlon Brando perfecto leather jacket, found in op shop for $80.
Craghoppers waterproof lightweight hiking jacket. Scramble tested.
A couple of trench coats for work.
Red wool coat. £5 in op shop
Dark navy blue wool/cashmere coat. $200 at the Qantas uniform shop.
Windproof fleece jacket. One of my fav's. Millet's £50
Brown sheepskin coat. Found in op shop for £7. Toasty
Sheepskin flying jacket snaffled from Chief pilot for £70. Warm.
Cute little wool mix brown jacket.
A black hoody. Ancient. Comfy though.
A strange reversible pink/gray/white jacket hoody. Bought at markets at uni. $80. Worn it for years.
Couple of nylon bomber jackets for work.
Soon to aquire. Black suit coat with some gold braid on it.

My favorite is me Barbour. Had it years, and about 5 years ago it went back to Barbour for a re-fit. They re-waxed it, repaired the coat-hoook loops, and stitched leather edging around the cuffs and around the bottom edge of the jacket where it had started to fray. Oh, and they pinned a brand new 'Barbour' enamel badge onto the collar (which, like the forst one, I promptly removed). They did all this for next to no money as I recall.

The Barbour is not good for streuous activities since it doesn't 'breath', but it's great for other outdoor activities 'cause it's warm and wind/water proof. It's great in the Chipmunk in winter ;~)

Also got a Helley Hanson sailing jacket

IXP Bike jacket with body armour, with zip-out waterproof liner, and zip-out extra padding for warmth in winter.

Lightweight gortex walking jacket

Cream Burberry overcoat
