What Film

I've got a "bee in my bonnet"....
I remember a film starring [I think] Kirk Douglas who utters the superb sentence.... "One man, one vote, and I'm the man with the vote"
I think that it was
a, a "Navy" film, and
b, a "War" film
TIA

Hmmmm ,Can't actually think of a Navy /War film Kirk Douglas has starred in offhand.

Ah yes, just remembered one, more a science fiction movie though, about a Aircraft Carrier that goes through a time warp and ends up in the Pacific just before Pear Harbour, I recall a couple of Zero fighters gettin a fright when they see two F14 Tomcats on their six.
Can't recal the Title or anything Kirk said in the movie though.

Is it the one where Kirk and his dimple are captains of the carrier that gets sucked back in time to Pearl Harbour? The dimple had all the good lines.

There's a superb shot of an F14 in Final Countdown that cost the real-life Navy pilot his wings. Got so low you can see the jet blast on the water.
