Spitter swallower or peeler?

One has just ate alvery large Pear very nice it was too,but rather a messy fruit to eat, one can get covered in juice, one used to be a fruit peeler, indeed one has a beautiful 6 " pearl handled switch blade stilletto for this purpose ,but one finds of late that just taking a bite chewing it up separating the peel in ones gob and spitting same out, into a convinient receptical is the least messy although this method may be frowned upon in pollite company.
The only other option is to chew the whole lot up and swallow it pips and all,but this always seemed a tad uncouth to me even monkeys peel fruit before eating.
Impresses the hell ourt of the ladies when one whips out a pearl handled stilletto after the cheese and bickies and commenses to peel ones after dinner apple.

Mein Fuhrer

Fortunately one wasn't involved with a mango. This beast requires sitting naked in a bathtub while attempting to kill and gut said animal. Ladies are known to frown upon gentlemen sitting in the bath with a partially dismembered mango dangling from the mandibles.

The skin contains all the goodness!
Peel it and it'll do no more than keep you regular (or frequent, if you eat lots).

Ah! but the peel of a coconut can be a tad chewy Aerbabe, also I had a mate at school who suffered a blocked intestine caused by a bollus of apple peel and had to be operated on swiftly lest he expire.
Funny coincidence had not seen the chap for years but one met him in the park just tother day, spooky what?

I would hate your pretty little knife to go to waste, Mr Draper. You can come and peel grapes for me if you like.

The end of civilisation is upon us...

Cardinal Puff, a gentleman employs a kitchen maid to peel one's mangoes. Fresh Pineapples too. I believe the Romans also used such wenches to pop their grapes for them, singaporegirl...

Parrots are so fastidious they even peel the skin off their peanuts - and using only a beak and their tongue too, no deadly weapons at the dinner table for them. Such well mannered birds they are.

Just make sure it's reasonably clean, select a spot which looks tasty or interesting, open your mouth, bite gently and seal the released juices in with your lips. Alternating gentle and firm suction and the intelligent use of tongue and teeth will extract the maximum of pleasure from the experience.

Cherries are the best. Melons are also superb.
