Baobab, io abito a Dallas e sono un fedelissimo di Skymates, sarò felice di introdurti e farti da cicerone.
Hai molte domande, le risposte sono semplici ma devi chiarire se hai una licenza FAA o JAA, dopodichè sarò più preciso.

Can someone please verify that Skymates is a decent school to go to? I'm supposed to be going next month and I noticed on another thread that their safety record isnt good. I'm very attracted to their pricepoints (32k for 250 CPL course - based on min hours but most students there finish at that range)

I know this is an Italian forum but I figured you guys are talking about Skymates....
Can anyone give me their opinion about them as a flight school? I plan on going next month and I saw a comment on another thread about their safety record not being so good. Is anyone there now? How's the education, and is the maintenance of the planes ok?

All the messages in this thread are positive, in others webistes (italian and american) I have always read only positive things about the school and its staff.

ormai io ci sono da giugno e posso confermare appieno i commenti positivi letti a suo tempo nei vari forum, non sarà una scuola "blasonata" come altre, ma offre quello che serve ad un prezzo onesto 
inoltre il costo della vita e degli appartamenti in texas non è affatto eccessivo, sicchè si vive bene senza troppe rinunce.
Consigliatissimo, magari x verificare di persona venite prima a fare hour building o PPL un mesetto, sono certo che vi troverete bene.

Quella da giugno è la mia...
Ha il bagno privato, è abbastanza grande, con due letti (uno è nuovo) e una stanzetta come armadio.
E sto anche vendendo la mia auto, fatevi vivi sùbito, perchè i prezzi nei dintorni sono aumentàti moltissimo e qui ancòra no, finchè il dollaro si mantiene intorno a 1,42 conviene!!
