If you didn't get invited for the second set of tests, you weren't considered. You'll get your PFO in a few days/weeks.

That's how it went last year at least. I imagine they have a delay to keep their options open? I doubt they need to, with 3500 applications.

Aer Lingus Direct entry

I have just received an email

"Dear Erky Thank you for your application for the role of Direct Entry Pilots. Unfortunately we must inform you that on this occasion your application is unsuccessful. We would like to thank you for your interest in Aer Lingus and wish you every success in your future career. Yours Sincerely The Aer Lingus Recruitment Team"

No reason stated!!

We will see how equal opportunities works!! Lets see how many pilots from other nations they will hire?

Good luck to everyone who is on second stage.

Wrong and wrong, if you didn't receive yet your TFO is because they still looking, so yes we stay opting for those positions, and applicants is half of the figure you mention as far as I'm aware from good source. So guys keep positivie and your fingers crossed!

Dear Applicant,

Thank you for your application for the role of Direct Entry Pilot.

We would like to inform you that you have passed the initial screening phase and we will be reviewing your full application over the coming months.

When we advertised we stated we would be recruiting for a panel of Direct Entry Pilots in January and February 2017. We may invite you to participate in the next stage of the selection process during that time.

We would like to thank you for your continued interest in Aer Lingus.

So next stage!
