Thomson Recruitment
Has anyone applied to Thomson and recieved the email back stating they have recieved your application and will notify you by the week commencing 18th April?
Interested to know how many pilots they will be recruiting and the process.
[Thank you for your interest in Thomson Airways and your recent application for the role of Pilot with our Airline. We wanted to take this opportunity to update you now with regards to the anticipated time scales for our recruitment process.
As you may be aware we are no longer accepting applications for our pilot roles, and the roles are now closed.
At this time we are screening applications, this process will be on going and we will be confirming the outcome of this to you by the end of week commencing 18th April.
Successful candidates will be invited to attend an Assessment Centre, these will take place week commencing 16th May at our East Midlands Training Centre.
Our final recruitment stage for None Type Rated pilots will be a SIM session, these will be held week commencing the 23rd of May.
At this time, we do not have details of fleets or bases available. Please be aware all finalised Assessment centre and SIM slot dates and times will be confirmed to successful candidates in due course.
Should you have any questions please feel free to contact a member of our recruitment team who will be happy to help you.]

The text of the email states that applications are now closed so you may be a bit late.
I believe that Thomson have been recruiting experienced rated and non rated people lately.
As far as I’m aware the only way to get into Thomson as a low hours cadet is to work for them in some other capacity (ops, engineering, cabin crew etc) and apply internally when they are looking to recruit cadets from within

I received an email yesterday to say I met the requirements of the initial stages of the screening process as advertised. However, since closing the position they had changed their business plan and would no longer be paying for any aircraft training. So I assume they had a lot of type rated applicants and are going with them only?
