Arrow US Ciitzen with German Permanent Residency - any chances?

Hi,
could I, a US Citizen with a German Permanent Residency, have any chance of jobs in EASA countries?

By the time I will apply for anything I will have already completed my EASA conversions and the ATPL tests.

In general, any airlines. Ryanair, even, for example.

Sometimes even for the same airline one advertisement will state EU Citizen and some other advertisement will state "Right to work and live in the EU country".

Are there any others in the same situation as me here?

Ex Army? :-)
Correct me if I'm wrong, but a german residency nowadays is equal or is a blue card, right? Anyway, this would mean that you are an EU resident, which on the other hand means that you can travel and work wherever you want within the European Union.

I do assume that my working and living rights in Germany will also apply for the rest of the EU, but not sure if that cut's it for all airlines out there.

To be honest, I don't even know what a Blue Card is. I just looked it up, and it seems to be a EU-wide work permit.

And to be honest again, I wrote I have my permanent residency to simplify the conversation. I should be getting it by the end of the year. I will be ready to market myself by Summer 2016.

And no, not Ex-Army. Decided to move to Germany after completing high school when I was 18!

Second largest airline in Germany and got many crew members with non-EU passports working for us.
Any long-term stay permit with work permission should do.

Yeah, pretty much. A permanent residency should be equal to a blue card. Basically the only residency status you are not allowed to work with in the rest of the EU is if you are seeking and permitted asylum.

@safelife
Nothing personal, but aren't you guys kinda broke soon?
We had a f/o coming over from AB, since he wasn't feeling safe with the job situation anymore :-S.
