Maybe I am missing the bigger picture here, but what exactly are the benefits to not allowing someone to re-apply to the scheme?

I recently had the results of my stage 2 assessment. I passed all assessments with flying colours apparently. The personality test let me down though. It highlighted me as an amber for a particular aspect. Gutted to say the least. Was offered a position at the flight school though but as an integrated student.

@Jenna_Aviatrix

The open day may or may not be a sign of anything opening. There have been plenty of open days in the past which simply had the airline attend but meant nothing of their specific scheme. Where CTC mentioned they weren't sure if they'd take re-applicants at this time I got a similar story for the Virgin MPL when it came to applying a second time. It could well be that 'Generation easyJet' in its current form is relatively new compared to the former MPL only option and that the airline is yet to set any goal posts for its second run. - Who knows! Although, I can't imagine them not taking returning-applicants.

When I was offered the reduced cost of re-selection, it only applied to me re-sitting for the Whitetail scheme. As I wanted to re-apply to Virgin I needed to complete the entire thing again the second time around.

I wish you all the best in any future attempt you make :-)

I am booked in for an easyJet stage 3 interview next week at OAA. I was wondering whether someone who has already sat this interview would be able to contact me and give me an idea of how to prepare.
I have already poured over the easyJet websites and countless pages of their financial publications as suggested by a document sent to me by OAA. As well as this, I have prepared answers to a large proportion of possible personality questions that I think they might throw at me. I am just concerned that I may have missed something, and as this is a huge opportunity, I don't want to blow it. I would be extremely grateful for any guidance from someone who is currently a pilot or has been through this process either at OAA or CTC recently.

Thanks in advance

Before you attend I would ask them what their view on the results of your personality test are. A number of us were brought to stage 3, did very well at the interviews as our feedback would suggest, told we were successful, then told we were actually unsuccessful because easyJet suddenly decided they weren't happy with our personality assessment we did before attending our phase 2 day months prior.

I'm not bitter, this is a forum for people to give advice and share their experiences.

Unless you are one to stay silent when you know a fellow colleague could potentially be at risk. I'm not one to sit silent when I've had an experience that enables me to give advice to others that I would have loved to have received myself, if you see it as bitter then so be it.

I have read the past few posts about the troubles with the PQ and how people have been treated. I agree that I should contact OAA and find out what their opinion was, however I am not sure how to go about it. I'm not even sure that OAA has the results on hand as it has been mentioned before that all of the results are sent off to easyJet. I guess I will just have to wait and see what the next few weeks bring. I hope not be let down by my PQ, but if I am, at least I know where I went wrong. Thanks for the advice

Also, after sitting stage 3, how long did you have to wait for the results?

Good luck to everyone in this situation and I really hope that you all make it!
