If it is the same MAF as Im thinking of, then if you are a "God Botherer" you'll be fine, if not, then walk away.......
They will expect "Your Church" to fund any type ratings and tickets to your assigned Base, accommodation etc......
Salary? Read all before Accommodation ...... although they may pay for your first return flight to ZRH for interview.

You have to be a missionary and a pilot to serve truly and work for MAF. If that's your calling go for it but if you are a CRJ rated pilot and looking for a challenge then PM me. A company is hiring in west Africa with accommodation, transportation and very attractive salary. Good luck with the interview and God bless

I have never worked for them and I never will, but one of my old flatmates from flying school went on to work for them.
He told me the interview was as much about your strength of your christian belief, discussion of the bible, "tell me about a time you preached jesus in front of a crowd of strangers" etc, it was apparently more about that than actual flying related stuff.

I flew with some of MAF pilots in Africa. They seem a bit odd to me and they charged me to fly with them on C208b I was rated in, even tho Jesus said to love one another brother. They were the only ones to charge you as a reg pax if you wanted to jump on their planes. I always took folks in uniforms for free. Stiff on money and views. Not recommended.
