Thanks guys! The issue is I am going with Air Astana ab initio programme, and i was not given any prepacks or whatever, they just told me there will be ComPASS assessment(physics, math, psychomotorics, memory and aviation english) after that interview with flight school (FTE Jerez or AFTA) representatives + Air astana representatives, so this is a little bit tricky. I suppose i have to prepare best i can.

Hello all!

Could anybody shed some light on the actual test itself? I have the pre test pack so know what to expect in regards to content. However would like to know how the math exam is set? Eg. How many questions, time frame, calculator/non calculator..

Any help will be greatly appreciated!

The vast majority of questions will be loosely based off the material contained within the pre-pack. There will be some questions based off work not included within the pack, but if you go through your GCSE notes, you'll be fine.If you prepare yourself well enough, you will have enough time.
For the reasoning tests, look for the info contained within this thread and look at tests online.

Potential junior birdmen

Ensure that your mental arithmetic is sound.

Scottish SQA school exams in national 5 level will help. Separate exam paper on website.
Also know your times tables up to ten times, and your sixty times table

The sort of questions you'd expect to come up are contained within the prepack that should've been sent to you. You do need to study material out with the pack though. I'd advise you to spend time practicing numerical and verbal reasoning papers.

Hi guys and girls!

Anyone applying for FTE this year?

Can someone just confirm for me, unlike CTC, there is no multi tasking or colour matching aptitude tests at FTE?

Is there a group team work exercise?

Thanks

Your right yeah, it doesn't have them two exams in the aptitude tests. It hs english and maths verbal reasoning papers and maths and physics exams aswell. They are not too challenging but just swat up on GCSE level stuff and you should be fine!

Jerez assessment

Hi all,

I've just had an assessment come through for Jerez along with a pre assessment guide on what might come up

This attitude test looks very physics heavy and also includes trig etc

Has anyone been to a Jerez selection before and is it as Physics based as it appears and is there a big focus in calculator maths such as Trig?

Thanks

@blondesrule18

Everything you need to know is summed up in the pre assessment guide. Therefore you should understand everything included in the guide in preparation.

There is a maths and physics test(therefore yes it is physics based) as well as a numeracy, numerical reasoning and verbal reasoning test.

Good luck!
