Wizz Air open day in Kiev 25th March
For those who would like to go to Kiev for the open day, I got this email:
"Thank you for your email reference the open day in Kiev. The open day is for Wizz Air Ukraine, and therefore is only open to pilots holding a Ukrainian passport. If you are not in possession of a Ukrainian passport, then you will not be seen, nor will any record of your attendance be made."
So only Ukrainian...

Unbelievable!!!
It has been discussed over and over again, there's a legal requirement, hence the restrictions on who can/can't attend.Ukraine is NOT on the EU therefore those jobs are for locals.Do you watch the news??
Guys, this is getting boring now…
p.s-We should get news on the assessments end of next week, because they only start this week..

Well the one in Romania asked for Romanian passport holders, been various rumours that anyone who attended who meet the minimum got an interview, even without the passport.
You can understand the confusion.

Elmore81,
No,I cannot understand the confusion. The confusion is unacceptable from individuals who aim to attain such a job.
The advertised position on the Wizzair website, for the Romanian open day, was aimed at the locals initially because there was a new base opening there. They rectified later.Besides, all you have to do is put 2 and 2 together…
Romania is now part of the EU freedom of movement by it's workers, they have to allow for foreigners to apply,EU law.
Ukraine on the other hand is not.
Reason Wizzair made sure it was clearer this time on their website. You can certainly go to the open day.If I was the recruiter tho,I would question your ability to understand basic instructions and your common sense.
Like the Bucharest open day, these guys will be very busy.
As a recruiter I would be quite annoyed with people wasting my time when there would be others there in need of my attention who actually meet the criteria. My two cents….
