Skies-aviation or Eagle Jet line training.

Does anyone knows anything about Skies Aviation? Some say its a rip-off and they use Emirates simulators for TR. They offered me a type rating and line training on 737CL based in Dubai for 56000 euro..Has anyone done any business with em? What worries me,is that i have to pay 6000euro to book my slot,20000 on the first day of program and 30000 before line training begins.

Skies-aviation or Eagle Jet line training.

could i just add that just because our cadetship costs money does not mean you get a free pass! you have got to be good, Very good or you will be sent home, this is not Lion air where anyone with a pulse can fly the aircrafts, and there are no promises so get that out your system! if your good prepared to work hard and learn the books like the alphabet you may just make it with us, our standards are higher than Emirates to give you an idea of whom your dealing with, we fly in to the most dangerous airspace in the world and you have to be well above the average 737 operator to survive hear. Good luck

People wanting to research Eastern Skyjets, either the company or the guy posting here under that user name, should probably have a read of this http://www.pprune.org/middle-east/50...n-skyjets.html and come to their own conclusions

They're just another pack of low life cowboys taking on the contracts nobody else will touch for safety reasons, and now it seems they're also in the business of ripping off 200 hour mugs from Europe to warm the RHS.

This attitude will surely keep you out of 737 seat for a long time. There are way to many unemployed pilots and only few ways to fix it..P2F or make flight schools issue CPL with 1500 hours...(same thing)
Or you can do it a classical way(just like i do now) Fly small sep in asia and do all kinds of dirty job in a hangar for food ,and somehow chase the sun all the way to the west.

Yeah maybe you're right, I know nothing but I've flown long enough in the Middle East to have heard plenty of rumors about Eastern Skyjets, none of which are very nice and none of which involved favourable comparisons to EK or any other operator in the Gulf

Now surely my friend you agree it's important for someone considering spending so much money, to carefully research and take advice about the company they are going to give all this money to? I wonder who you would suggest for these guys to take advice from? Apart from yourself?

I can see this thread getting locked real quick so I will just say to anyone from Europe or a first world country considering this "opportunity" to take one very simple test ... go talk to someone in your home country who you respect, preferably a captain who is very senior in a well respected airline, or someone who is involved in recruitment for an airline that you would like to work for, and ask them whether you should do this deal, and how their airline would view these hours logged with this operator. Take THEIR advice, not mine and definitely not his ^^^

Return of the SkyJets Part II

I see Eastern SkyJets is back defending its cadet pilot programme.

I didnt know you guys were this desperate.

SkyJets, please mate, i think they have been quite a few on this forum who have said this before, the least said about you the better, because we "KNOW" your outfit and who's making money off the cadet programme.

Every Peter-Pilot in the Middle East is aware of the 'behind-the-scenes' handshakes that go with your cadet pilot programme, so seriously, take heed to words of wisdom and play it down for a while.

Should you refuse to, well then someone's going to air your dirty linen in public and i'm sure neither you nor everyone here want that do you?

I cant quit laughing at the "LionAir" reference!.lol, . Are you serious?, you actually are trying to compare yourself with Lion Air?. Your some peice of work!.

Seriously, Mate, stop wasting your time here, you have work to do, dont you have salaries to pay or is that still delayed?.

Exclamation Singular and Plural

And SkyJets, the Singular and Plural for "aircraft" is "Aircraft".

Not Aircrafts

You have got to be Indian.

Skies Aviation are now running a program for 500 hours on the Caravan, they are charging 26000 us dollars for the privilege, the whole thing has gone completely mad!Seriously,$26000,bloody hell.I cant get my head around it,who the hell is paying for these kind of programs?Do the maths,it wont pay, never, everyday it seems to be getting worse,i qualified 2 years ago and i thought it was bad then,Ryanair wouldn't have been my first choice, now its the best job on offer for newbies!Hopefully somebody somewhere in a position of power can put a stop to all this madness and we might have some hope of starting our careers.

Skies-aviation or Eagle Jet line training.

my nationality is pakistan not Indian, We are not allowed to take on anymore cadet pilots as per a recent GCAA audit so I dont know why you think I am preaching this fact.

I am tired of arguing, if you dont like ESJ I accept that, its your opinion after all this is PPrune and its full of unempolyed pilots that finish there CPL and have nothing better to do rather that search the forums and moan about everyone.

p.s we have a better saftey record than Lion
