Interviews, jobs & sponsorship Do ya feel lucky, Punk? Well do ya? If so, here's the place to swap the hot gen on who's sponsoring or employing, their selection criteria, and where those oh so elusive first jobs can be spotted in the wild. Watch out for the tumbleweeds...

Eagle Jet A320 Program

I received an email from EagleJet selling an A320 type rating + 500 hours. Just out of curiosity, anyone knows what is the airline they place you in?

This is what they say:

Quote:
Pilots complete the JAA A320 type rating course with the partner airline they will fly on line with. Airline is a national established and reputable airline.

I would say to you that it is largely irrelevant who this airline is as Eagle Jet makes it all up as they go along. Today it could be airline x, but just before you start a whole new other one. There are likely to be only a couple of slots every few months (if that) and Eagle Jet have a list containing hundreds and hundreds of suitably qualified guys from all over the world. When it comes to A320 line training programmes, Eagle Jet does not work in the fair way some might think. You are given the idea that you are being put on a waiting list but the truth is they simply keep sending out more and more emails TO EVERYONE on their email lists, increasing the price until fewer and fewer people respond.

That sums up the Eagle Jet A320 line training programme over the last few years. Total

It is crazy!!! The price is 54.900 € for the A320 program for pilots already rated on the Airbus!!!
Do you really want to pay all this money to buy a right seat on the Bus? Plus the cost of the type plus the cost of the license! No future in this way!

An P2F indian company has already supplying pilot to Citilink.. i heard he is charging 80k USD (incl type rating) for the privilege, month salary of 1k USD and no Flight PAY.. for 3 LONG YEARS...

And there is no shortage of indian applicants of course..

This makes Eaglejet A320 bargain basement...

Can't be Sun Express, they only have 737's. Maybe Wizz Air?

It is not Citilink.

They are using Avia Partners.
