Interviews, jobs & sponsorship Do ya feel lucky, Punk? Well do ya? If so, here's the place to swap the hot gen on who's sponsoring or employing, their selection criteria, and where those oh so elusive first jobs can be spotted in the wild. Watch out for the tumbleweeds...

From CAA LASORS...

G1.3 'Credits form the ATPL(A) Theoretical Knowledge Exams':
The holder of a valid JAR-FCL CPL(A)/IR with
JAR-FCL ATPL Theory credit will be credited
the JAR-FCL ATPL(A) Theoretical knowledge
examination for a period of 7 years from the last
validity date of the IR(A) entered in the CPL(A).

Basically, don't leave your IR for more than 7 years without renewing it or you have to sit the 14 CAA exams again, that would be a nightmare!

If you are going to quote me at least read what I said

''this comes from someone who was just about to begin one.''

I pulled out as I don't think 50,000 plus euros is worth it with no job afterwards, and no I don't have 'too much money' I worked my ass off since I left flight school in a normal job and saved every penny I earned to put me in a position that if the time comes I at least have the option.

Oh and I got an email off a recruiter today

'Let us know when you have 500 hrs on type'.
