So guys does anyone know whether the applications have actually been screened or have they just invited everyone that met criteria?

They have been screened, 7000 down to 1000. Asrum you dont have a CPL, do you? So dont panic, yes you would have to resit them, unless you have a UAE CPL? I doubt thats the case. Oz in August or early Sept.

7000? that other guy said that there were only 700 ...

I'm still under review, maybe because I'm not 18 yet (in August I will be), or maybe it is because I'm from Belgium, damn Arabic racists (just joking, you never know, maybe the guy who does the selections with etihad reads this topic daily )

I'm not 18 until August but I'm through. So does anyone actually know the figures on how many they have shortlisted from then to. ie 7000 to a 1000 etc?

Can't wait, wonder what they're looking for in their perfect cadet?

Guys, have you been contacting Etihad by phone or just plain e mail. I'd like to phone them but unsure of where to phone at.

Any ideas?

lowspirited,

yes, i uploaded it after i was told by a friend (who has got through) to upload your cv. as you can't put your qualifications anywhere on the application form, it makes sense to attach it now.
i uploaded it about a month after i initially sent the application off. i thought they wouldnt accept it, but i am pleased to say i have been called for the assessment.

good luck

I've e-mailed them to ask if there has been a mistake. Anyone else had the same problem?
