Wink dubble_dubble

I have the 1:200 scales for the B777-300ER, A380-800, A330-200 & the A340s..., while the Emirates' B727-200 is 1:150 & the Air Force One is a 1:250 scale.

I have only one 1:400 EY A300-200 bought it onboard a short flight to Bahrain.

you can get them online from many websites...depending on your region (search on google), but hope I meet you one day (when shortlisted) & go to get them from their shop here in Abu Dhabi...

Cheers,

dubble_dubble, I am an Economics student at Warwick University in the UK, I have a PPL from dubai and I did my CPL from Toronto (Buttonville Municiple Airport)

Im looking forwrd to taking some time off uni to finish my multi/IFR.....

and for the rest of you....I am going to call them up again and see if they can actually find my application this time, I think their IT problems are making matters even worse....Im guessing they never expected to get so many applicants and didnt have the systems and man power in place to back it up
will keep you posted...

its the weekend in the abu dhabi so i suppose we'll have to wait till tommorow before i call...

Any ideas what the training syllabus at horizon might be?...It looks more JAA based to me, which is going to be a lot of work for those of us who get selected. Ive read the CPL Human Factors book for the JAA its like becoming a doctor !

regarding Diamonds and their engines? lol...i think Thilert is going out of business real soon, and i dont think they guarentee warranties anymore for new aircrafts! :s!....nonetheless i enjoy flying them over the top...nothing like glass cockpit

Yeah postings on this thread have been quite sluggish lately.

metallicwings has already received an email that he has not been selected. he says he had applied in april. if that being the case i reckon the calls will start coming by june end or july beginning with the next phase somewhere in august-september.
