ryanair et les resultats de l ATPL

bonjour

merci!

Don't bother to go to the interview if you're planning to speak French

yeah they ask exact result (atpl written exams) , non sense, french DGAC do not deliver them unless you have failed your exams, then you have the exact resulst otherwise it is just indicated "passed" that's all.
Don't botther with them, just send your results as it is, if they are not happy with that tell them to complain to french dgac. It is not your problem. Europe is europe, if countries are not capable to follow the same laws/rules, they want to do things differently then it is THEIR problem.
having 80 or 95 % does not mean you're good pilot anyway, it just means you have a very good memory to tick the right boxes lol
They always asked too much details things in the north of europe.
UK companies are even tougher, they may ask all your past life. looool

that s what I did. I printscreened my results from Ocean, but still they need the exact result as I failed some subjects.

DGAC already sent me their apologise for not being able to provide those infos.
They wrote me a letter in which they confirm they simply don t store this kind of infos in their IT system.

from the side of RyanAir they advised me to resend my application in few months in case of they would change the requested document list...

that s kind a crazy. indeed we are still in the EU...

anyone else in the same situation?

Hi betterdriveabus,

Here is the link I used: Formulaire de saisie de l'administration - Ministère de l'Environnement, de l'Energie et de la Mer
This allows you to send an official request to the French CAA and they are compelled to answer.

Here is the text I wrote:

(For non-French speakers: I asked for an official proof written in English of 1st pass in ATPL theory, CPL and IR exams)

Two days after, I received by email a certificate stating I passed all the ATPL exams at the first attempt... and also stating the average result! (though, no details about individual exams)
One more day after, I received another email with a certificate stating 1st passes for the CPL and IR exams.

The week after, I received the original papers in my mailbox.

The ATPL average result was a good surprise as I achieved a nice score (more than 90%). I answered to the email, writing that this was kind of a surprise. It seems that the French CAA receives more and more similar requests and they decided to disclose the ATPL average result to avoid French licence holders being disadvantaged when applying to European airlines. The original reason of non-disclosure was non-discrimination. Ironically, you can now get your ATPL score for the same reason

@Le Bigleux when have You passed your ATPL?

because from my side in 2007.

here is the full official answer from the french CAA I got.

"Monsieur,

Bien cordialement."

So what would You say? that s kind a insane...

mékissonkon Actually that's not much surprising. When there are software changes or implementation in public administration, they are often done by private third-party companies providing IT services (usually called "marchands de viande" -- "meat sellers"). That would not be the first time (neither the last one) that they do a botched job.
I took all the exams many months after that software change and that's why I could get my average result.
