UPS Pilot Strike

On October 23 , 2015 , the Independent Pilot`s Association( IPA ) voted overwhelmingly ( 2251-8 ) in favour of giving the UPS pilot`s union , the IPA , authority to formally request a release from federally mediated negotiations with UPS and then conduct a strike when mediation is concluded. Negotiations have been going on for more than four years.
In light of the recent 6 year deal agreed between FedEx pilots and their management , what`s the chance of the IPA securing a similar deal with respect to pay , health care , retirement benefits and work / rest balance ? Best of luck with raising the bar.
