ASL takeover Farnair

Just heard this today.

seems like its been very very quiet around this. Apparently a lot of synergy effects leading to cost savings according to media. Guess this means layoffs in the long run??
Does this men better terms for the crews of farnair when changing to ASL??

ASL Aviation Group is to acquire the Farnair Group, bringing the number of airlines ASL owns to seven.

Based in Switzerland, the Farnair group consists of Farnair Switzerland, Farnair Hungary, Quikjet India and K-Mile, which is a joint venture.

All of Farnair's management team will stay in place, ASL said in a statement, as will its aircraft. This will bring ASL's combined fleet to over 100 owned or operated aircraft its employees to over 1,500.

The deal is due to close this year, subject to regulatory approvals.
