7 A300-600RF for Air Contractors ??

Hi all,

I Heard from some crews that ACL wil recieve former Japanees A306RF's

due to the cargo upswing they need a lot more capacity .

they should be leased to DHL.

any idea if this is just a story or if this is realy going on behind the scenes ???

cheers
Rick

This rumour is already going on for a very long time.

Fact is that the A300-B4 will be replaced one day or an other.

At the moment it is unclear what aircraft type will replace them (B767 / A300-600), it is unclear who will operate them (ACL / EAT) and it is unclear when this will happen.

They made most A300-B4's QC8 compliant, so chances are it will take a while before they are replaced...

Official statement is expected mid 2011 (so probably end 2011...)
