Correction, they are hiring 4 Fo and 4 Fe for the A300. 6 Fo go for interview, more hiring might follow. Next month 1 A300 coming back on active duty what brings the total at 13 airframes. Possible 1 more will follow later this year, not confirmed.

A300 is also ACL, people are hired by ACL, not EAT.

Wealth Warning

I have heard this week that ACL are offering €44k for experienced A300 FEs.

This "ab initio's" salary does not sit easily when the guys you'd hand the aircraft over to are earning in excess of €70k. Many were on that salary before being made redundant, so a double slap.

Methinks that's just a trifle cynical. Supposed to attract those who are desperate for work?

@ Dengue_Dude

There is however a very big difference in the tax situation of those with the 70+ salary.
In the end the difference will not be that enormous...

I sincerely doubt the tax difference will amount to €28000 --- a 39% pay cut for the same job. Even Belgian tax doesn't make THAT much difference.

Just call me cynical . . .

Air Contractors Salary

Hi, Can anybody tell me on average how much an Air Contractors 737 F/O with 2500+ hrs is taking home each month including all sector pay etc etc.

Thanks,

Dougle.
