Cargo airlines In India
Apart from Blue Dart with B732SF,B752SF & B752PCF.There is no Indian Cargo Airline in INDIA.
There was Elbee airlines with F27s & First Flight with ATPs,but they did not survive.
In future rumoured is Flyington Freighters with A330Fs, Deccan Cargo with ATR72s & A310Fs and Quikjet with B757Fs.
Any update on the rest.Considering Blue Dart is well in profits in such tough times, wouldn't it be ideal for some more cargo operators to launch.

Air India Cargo
If you look at the history of Indian airlines, through the 1980s and 1990s, Air India often leased DC8-63Fs and 747-200Fs on long term ACMI contracts from various (often USA) operators, such as ONA, or Evergreen. In the 1980s, I flew at times these Air India DC8s, from NewYork, through Europe, Middle East, South Asia, and Far East to Tokyo.

Now that India's aviation is growing, it is certain that they will acquire large cargo airplanes to operate these routes in the future. After all, India is a huge nation not far behind China in demography, and has a definite future for both cargo and passenger airplanes. Look at the number of passenger airlines starting to operate and their growing fleets. Next will be large and long range cargo planes. India industry growing, will require these planes, for import as well as export, to/from Mumbai, Delhi, Kolkata (spelling...?) and Chennai.
