Freight Dogs Finally a forum for those midnight prowler types who utilise the unglamorous parts of airports that many of us never get to see. Freight Dogs is for pilots and crew who operate mostly without SLF.

Can anybody tell me if they are going to hire Leipzig based Pilots (Captain or FO) at the moment? Whats the best way to apply for them? Thanks for every insight!

LEJ

I was told at interview last week that ALL new crews would be LEJ based as the BRU operation slowly wound down.

All recruitment seems to be online, but if you email Ilse Jannes on [email address] I'm sure she'll get you on the right track.

Hope that helps. Good luck.

That seems to be true for European Air Transport, but what about DHL air, based in East Midlands? Thanks anyway!

As far as I am aware, and it has changed on a number (!) of occasions over the last year or so, all DHL Air recruiting is for the LEJ base. The same goes for internal command upgrades.

I think there is still a problem with the German tax as a lot of the latest recruits have LEJ on their contracts but haven't been sent there yet. Those that live in Germany or commute in can start and finish their duties in LEJ, but I think they are still EMA based.

Hi,

I'm interested to work for EAT in LEJ.
But I need some more details about the ops.
What destinations the are going. How is the roster (8/6)? Means this that you are away from LEJ for 8 days?? And you can't go home??
May be someone can mail me an usual roster.

Thanks a lot and happy landings
