Freight Dogs Finally a forum for those midnight prowler types who utilise the unglamorous parts of airports that many of us never get to see. Freight Dogs is for pilots and crew who operate mostly without SLF.

Starting Out, Help Please!

Hi all,

I am coming to the end of my 5 year RAF movements career and now wish to become a civillian loadmaster.

So where do I start? After scanning the internet it looks like there are not many jobs advertised for loadmasters, I know there are jobs out there but assume its all word of mouth.

What companys operating out of the UK should I be writing to?

Any help and advice would be great.

Thanks

Simon

Loadmaster

Try Wicks Air Services, office in STN, they provide LM to MK / Panalpina / Evergreen / Polar / Atlas....etc.

Or Ocean Sky in PIK.

Or if you fancy being based in Germany. There are a few more.

Good Luck
