Freight Dogs Finally a forum for those midnight prowler types who utilise the unglamorous parts of airports that many of us never get to see. Freight Dogs is for pilots and crew who operate mostly without SLF.

Air Charter Express

Anyone know who to contact regarding the charter of an A.C.E DC-8?

A friend of a colleague is looking to move a DC-8 load quite soon and I said I'd try to get contact details for the carriers who knock around Europe. Ideally it'd be email/phone details for a European sales agent, rather than someone in Africa.

I already have passed on the details for the ZS- and Z- registered DC-8 operators.

Thanks in advance.

Thanks for the info. Are those for the airline direct in Africa, or a sales agent closer to Europe?

I don't have the load details - just said I'd assist with contact details.

Will pass on the above email address and I guess he'll be in contact shortly.

A buddy told me that he'd seen 9G-AXB in MAN on Sunday, which seems to be confirmed by pictures on the net.

Very unusual to see a DC-8 at Manchester.

What was the routing and the load?

Military? relief? AOG?
