Freight Dogs Finally a forum for those midnight prowler types who utilise the unglamorous parts of airports that many of us never get to see. Freight Dogs is for pilots and crew who operate mostly without SLF.

how to get into freight?

hi all, I apoligse if this is in the wrong forum. I have a CPL/multi-engine instrument rating, and almost 800 hrs (inc 100 turbine). Im wanting to get into some sort of freight position in the future and was wondering what I can do to increase me chances of this. I live in New Zealand at the moment. ANyone have any ideas? Cheers

try ppjn.com.

For Air Contractors you will need an ATR type rating whereas a company like DHL UK will train and bond you on a B757...

do some internet searches to find more info

Arghhh, cool website.

Perhaps in need of updating, but an interesting resource nonetheless!

Thanks!

With these hours and no type rating, you can try Westair Europe and/or Westair Luxembourg (provided of course you have the right to live and work in Europe).
