Wait until 2019

With the fuel hedging debacle over and costs slashed on the backs of employees, the profits will soar.

And who do you think will reap those rewards?

I can’t believe how most of you stupid writers here take pleasure in the failure of this great airline. You have taken a salary that has made many of you wealthy and yet you desire this airline to fail. You have not understood that so many people need this airline to support their families.

I am also disappointed with poor management but I will work for the survival of something I believe in. There is very much good in Cathay Pacific and our people.

Not ‘our’ Rod .... it was the man hired by Ables and Murdoch to dispose of the airline ..
A powerful family destroying a well loved legacy carrier because returns did not meet ‘target’

And IPad .... quite the opposite actually. We too have been loyal employees and have families to support. We have a voice and desire to lay the blame squarely at the feet of those that deserve it. It’s a crossroads for cx ... if they take the wrong turn we will all suffer. Those at the wheel have put us exactly where we now stand. All we have done is turn up, fly, load, repair, and serve on their planes for half a century without scratching one!! In return we have been under constant attack from people who have very little idea what the job entails from a real employee’s point of view... hence yammer, slido and god know what other crap so they can ‘connect with their people’
The only way it works in the military is you have to get down in the dirt with the troops..and earn a little respect.

You sound elitist so I'll take a stab that yourself or best pals are in the (ex) senior fleet and disgruntled all.

My advice, take your elitist blinders off, actually go and talk to those affected or, just go away..

Flex. It's obvious that Ipad isn't a pilot at all. Just another clueless management sycophant. They know the cost of everything, the value of nothing. Hence the mess this airline is in.
