Perfectly normal Airline promotional video. The guy is a Manager and seems quite a reasonable man making a reasonable point about a very nice jet.
As with all Cathay Managers, of course, the "package" that he is happy to support for others to fly his ' superjet' on is vastly inferior to the deal he takes home.
Hypocritical.

Well at least watching the video was educational, will remember this stuff for the tech quiz. The A330 has two prims and two secs, always thought otherwise but now I know better. Learn something new every day in this industry

If he still has a sense of humor his first question to every line trainee should be " so how many PRIM's does this aircraft have?"
Good that he mentioned he knew more about the flight deck than the cabin.
When I showed my wife that video she asked about flying with the curser device, she said...." Really? That doesn't sound right..... Is that right ?" LOL

DCP-AB (tree fiffy)

Come on, it's just ES doing his thing. If you don't see him hanging out near the CX food court (getting more free face time and doing nothing) you will see him on videos or ad shots living up to his apropos nickname " Captain Hollywood". Only at CX

STP - no, I didn't say that. Becoming a huge differential between what new recruits earn compared to those more senior. Could be a problem for the future but, as you imply, they didn't have to join so that's OK then.

I've had a re-think about that bit, and reckon I assessed it wrongly. I don't think it's a case of "the big bad Chinese government won't let us mention it". I think the truly sensitive issue is "We're still going to charge you for it, even though you won't be able to use it for half of the flight"

You people are sad. Just let him do his job. Don't you have anything else to worry about?

A bit of PR is part of his job. And if not, just let him have his fun. Many people who are no insiders of the business might actually enjoy this presentation of the caabon Fibaaa airplane.

Take it easy and keep it real fellows.
