But we knew that already...

Cathay seems to enjoy ordering cheap versions of seats to try and save money ( remember those J Class seats that didn't quite go flat.) Anyone, except the geniuses could tell how uncomfortable they would be. The public hated them and so did we.
Thank goodness they learnt that lesson. Oh................

It's not always CX's fault guys.

They are getting lucky to have Airbus paying for the parked airplanes, and not having to "send" A330s off for maintenance.....

Zodiac does the seats and toilets, and we had to order the seats from Zodiac.

Airbus's A350 delivery schedule flushed down the toilet

Since we work for a company that would rather scale back expansion plans rather than engage with their pilots, the question is how much did Cathay pay Zodiac to balls up the seats? Seems a bit too convenient for me - pilot shortage no more.

Last year Zodiac delayed deliveries of 787s to a few operators with a seat manufacturing backlog as well. Maybe not a conspiracy, maybe just genuine incompetence

Its not a conspiracy. I have personallu been to the zodiac factory last year in Tijuana. They have been late or in emergency mode for Boeing and Bombardier for at least a year now. They have also been doing airline specific work for Delta which was delievery on an emergency shipment basis

Its a typical company that exported their labor to mexico.
