Can anyone help me for my project

I am here just to ask a question for my 3rd runway project. Does all inbound and outbound flights of Hong Kong airport passes through the Guangzhou airspace?

try having a look at flight radar24 and you can see every flight departing and arriving. That way you can get a great picture of where the inbound and outbound traffic route. Good luck with your project.

Don't expect too much help on here….Pprune seems to attract quite a few of the a'holes of aviation.

The Guangzhou FIR is just to the north of Hong Kong and extends a fair way east and west. Any traffic arriving or departing Hong Kong from/to the north-west, north, or north-east (or anything in between!) will fly through Guangzhou airspace. That covers pretty much all of the traffic coming from or departing to mainland China.

If you have a look at Flight Radar 24 as Hugo suggested, you will see that the rest of the traffic arriving or departing Hong Kong does not fly through Guangzhou's airspace.

Have the powers above you given you a new project to keep you busy?

As has been said only traffic to points north-ish.

If you want a REAL study I might suggest one regarding the long term effects of body clock reversals, sleep depravation, and fatigue on cognative ability and physical health.

You probably have in the neighborhood of 3500 decent case studies right at your fingertips.

Shep68,

That project you speak of was undertaken and concluded.

Results were to the dislike of our "managers" and said document concluded that the pilots were to blame. Something about commuting habits etc.

Thought the original post might have had a hint of sarcasm to it.

On the basis its a serious Q, in fact in some ways the answer is YES.

Technically, every runway 07 arrival passes thru a piece of airspace adjacent to the HK FIR which is owned by Guangzhou but released to HK for its use, when some genius back in the 90's decided to stick the new airport in the worst possible spot. TONIC is in that airspace.

Can't find a diagram showing sorry. Maybe one of the procedure guys can post something. (BB?)
