Take responsibility for what ? Top three each award something is amiss with Joe public's perception v the reality CX crews are suffering..... Credit must be due perhaps that despite morale being low Flight Crews doing a good professional job when at work. The problem is no matter how hard your working the public will never perceive or understand it.

Other than for this award, has anyone ever heard of skytrax, does anyone ever read skytrax or have you ever thumbed through or have you ever bought a copy, or seen it for sale, or voted in the award? Didn't think so, me either.

There is no voting by any passenger. The study is all done by Skytrax, from surveys conducted by themselves, with the same level impartiality, fairness and transparency you can expect from a FIFA World Cup selection process.

Twiglet1, that was exactly my (sarcastic) point. When CX get the reward, it's a prestigious honor. It's good troops, led by superior Generals. When Cx don't get top honors, Skytrax and it's awards is not worth a mention by CX management.
Although Wednesdays announcement by the local "Next Magazine" 's award for Service in the Airline industry, thats an honor.
As for us, we all know it's a farce, from caring award to desired employer award and every Mickey Mouse and Hello kitty award in between.
