We are very pleased to announce the appointment of these three new directors, all of whom have a deep understanding of the business and operations of Cathay Pacific along with considerable management expertise that will add both strength and depth to our leadership team.
It's surreal how this company can BS itself into thinking they know what they are doing.

Are they really that scared of someone who may have a differing view that they simply can't employ ONE senior manager from outside the inbred family tree? Did the Haddon-Cave report rock the boat that much??
His recommendations, particularly in regard to employing outside experts, has simply been ignored and the status quo maintained.
The limited gene pool by relying solely on Swire yes men really has led to some recessive management traits. If any company could do with some fresh blood it'd have to be this dinosaur of a bygone era.
